Historic centre of Los Silos, in north-west Tenerife, protected since 2004 as a Conjunto Histórico. Its core is the Plaza de la Luz, with its early-20th-century kiosk, the town hall and the church of Nuestra Señora de la Luz; its squares and streets host the free daytime programme of Festival Boreal.
