About this edition
PHE Festival is a two-day music and arts event on the Explanada del Muelle in Puerto de la Cruz. Its 2026 edition — the eleventh — runs Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September, spanning indie, urban and electronic programming across two main stages plus a dedicated club stage. A south London band built around Joe Love, whose live set runs punk, electronics and rave into one another. The 2023 single King of the Slugs put them on the map and the debut album WOOF. (Domino, 2024) followed.

Phe Gallery
ExhibitionThe ninth Phe Gallery is a group show of emerging artists, open from 7 August to 6 September at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Eduardo Westerdahl (MACEW) in the Casa de la Aduana, beside the fishing harbour — a new location for 2026. It is curated by Beatriz Roca with M. Lohrum, Carlota Neris and Adrián Trujillo, and the open call selected work on the relationship between the natural environment, materials and contemporary ways of living.

TalkA day of talks, Pechakucha presentations and guided visits with the curatorial team on 2 September, including a live recording of The Cultural Mag podcast Ambrosía.
Phe Circular
WorkshopA public day on the environment and the circular economy on 29 August: a panel on sustainable festivals, a circular-economy expert table, a live recording of the Palique Divulgativo podcast, a family sound workshop and a seabed clean-up around the harbour of Puerto de la Cruz.
Phe Yoga
FamilyThe seventh Phe Yoga runs from 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday 5 September, with four sessions for practitioners and newcomers alike: Ashtanga — Progressive Practice at 10:00 and Black Lotus — High-Intensity Movement at 12:00, both led by Ari of El Árbol Terapias Naturales; Asana Lab — Alignment and Technique at 11:00 with Elena of The Yoga House; and Yin Yoga — Energy Harmonising at 13:00, where Elena guides the stillness while Yasmina accompanies it with Himalayan and quartz bowls, gongs and drums. A place has to be requested for each session, and participants bring their own mat. New for 2026 is a strand on nutrition and wellbeing, recorded as a podcast hosted by Santi Estévez with invited specialists.
BMX Water Jump
The seventh BMX Water Jump competition returns at midday on Friday 4 September at the fishing harbour, where riders launch off a ramp into the sea. The day is completed by a water slackline exhibition.
Phe Urban Sports
A regional skate, BMX and scooter competition at the San Antonio skatepark across 4 and 5 September, in categories by age and discipline, with an open-air mini ramp at Plaza del Escultor Ángel Acosta Martín for anyone who wants to try.
Phe Wine
A selection of Tenerife wines served by the glass or the bottle in the festival’s Wine Garden, with the bodegas Arautava, Suertes del Marqués, 300 Lios and Las Galanas from the Valle de La Orotava denomination of origin, Loher from Tacoronte-Acentejo, and López Palacios. It is preceded by an interactive tasting on Wednesday 2 September from 19:30 at Barrica de Los Momentos, Licorería Internacional, Calle Puerto Viejo 29 in Puerto de la Cruz, where four selected wines are poured and participants bottle and label their own to take away. Registration is required.
Teide Observatory visits
For the third year the festival works with the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias on free guided visits to the Teide Observatory, open to people holding a festival ticket. They run on the mornings of 31 August and 2 and 3 September at 10:00, last around 90 minutes and are led by specialist staff who show the installations, the telescopes and the research projects. Capacity is very limited: an invitation has to be reserved in advance and presented together with the festival ticket. The activity is not recommended for children under 8.
Sun Dance Family Session
FamilyBoth festival days open with the Sun Dance Family Session, which moves into the main site for 2026 and runs from 17:00 to 18:00 on the Phe Club stage: a family meeting point around electronic music, dance and wellbeing. Koset Quintana leads the group session with the Canarian DJ Dita Konnat on Friday 4 September, and Yaiza Martinón with DJ Bliss on Saturday 5. It is open to all ages, entry is with the festival ticket, and under-12s go free.

- Single-day tickets and two-day passes are sold through Tickety, the official ticket seller for the 2026 edition, and are also available through Taquilla — the seller each day page links.
- Age rules
- Children under 12 enter free.Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Where part of the ticket revenue goes
- Responding to the earthquake in Venezuela, the organisers are directing 5% of ticket income received since the disaster, plus an initial contribution of 2,000 euros, to humanitarian relief through the Comité de Emergencia Español.

Equality
Women and gender-diverse artists on the bill
Of the 18 live music projects on the 2026 bill, 10 include women and/or non-binary members, which is 55.6% of the programme; on the Phe Club electronic stage, 6 of the 11 projects are led by women or have mixed line-ups, or 54.5%. Among the projects led by women or with a particularly significant female presence are Ibibio Sound Machine, fronted by Eno Williams; Xerach, the project of the Canarian composer and producer Xerach Peñate; Natalia Doco and Ona Mafalda; Rufus T. Firefly, with Julia Martín-Maestro in half of its line-up; Bodega, with Nikki Belfiglio on vocals and samplers; ARXX, a duo made up of a woman and a non-binary artist, both from the LGBTQ+ community; and Mostany on the club stage. The Sun Dance Family Sessions that open both days are led by women.
Sustainability
Measured carbon footprint
The festival has measured its carbon footprint since 2024 and reviews energy use and waste for each edition.
Local sourcing
Catering works with kilómetro-cero suppliers and island produce.
Tableware and cups
Food is served on compostable tableware and drinks in reusable cups, with a return point where the deposit can be donated instead of reclaimed.
Renewable energy
The market zone is powered by eight solar panels.
Waste separation
Separate recycling points operate across the site, and the ashtrays in smoking areas are made from reused cans.
Travel by bus
The festival encourages arriving by TITSA public bus rather than by car.
Awards and recognition
A Greener Future certification
The 2025 edition was certified by A Greener Future, the British sustainability auditor for festivals and cultural events, after an independent assessment whose team worked on site during the event. It is the second consecutive year the festival has held the certification. The assessment covers waste management, water, energy and CO2 emissions, accessibility, transport, the use of local suppliers and how the event fits into its surroundings, and it also takes account of the festival’s social work, which includes financial support for the animal-rescue association ADEPAC.
