The Black Heritage Choir brings The soul of gospel to the Symphony Hall at Auditorio de Tenerife for ninety minutes. Its singers are drawn from the Mississippi Mass Choir, and Jerry Calvin Smith leads them. The show is a tribute to gospel, the music that grew out of the Black spirituals.
