The Sinfónica de Tenerife performs Mahler’s Second Symphony, “Resurrection.” Pablo González is the principal guest conductor. Berna Perles sings soprano and Olesya Petrova sings mezzo-soprano, with the Ópera de Tenerife-Intermezzo Choir.

Juan de la Rubia appears as organ soloist in Auditorio de Tenerife’s organ concert series. The programme is built around Handeliana I and centres on Handel works including Rodelinda, organ concertos, and a sonata for violin and basso continuo. The Orquesta Barroca de Tenerife also takes part.

Ilan Volkov conducts Liberty Bell at Auditorio de Tenerife. The programme includes Julia Wolfe’s Liberty Bell, Alban Berg’s Violin Concerto, and Janáček’s Sinfonietta, with Francisco Fullana on violin.

Soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic join the festival’s artistic director for Viola Fest, a chamber-music concert given within the Auditorio de Tenerife’s Chamber Music Cycle. The programme features works by Prokofiev, Smetana and Mendelssohn.
