Day 1 of Eólica 2026, a two-day electronic music and sustainability festival at the ITER institute in Granadilla de Abona. Doors and programme times are still to be confirmed.
The official site lets minors attend from the opening of the festival, with a minors' form to be completed. The rest is in the festival's conditions.
The festival names its four stages after materials it recycles: Plastic for avant-garde electronic music, long sets and experimental work; Crystal for intimate concerts and acoustic formats; Carton for urban rhythms, fusions and emerging bands; and Organic for world music, percussion and open-air sound experiences.
The festival runs free shuttle buses from the Santa Cruz bus interchange and the Los Cristianos bus station. Departures on Friday 16 October are at 15:00 and 18:00, and on Saturday 17 October at 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00. Return services leave the site at 00:00 and 02:00 on both nights, back to Santa Cruz via Güímar, Candelaria and Radazul, and back to the south via San Isidro, Chafiras and Los Cristianos. The shuttle ticket is added free of charge when buying a festival ticket, or afterwards from the order page.
Tickets are sold per day and as two-day passes through the festival's official ticketing page, so most visitors need one. The official site names a few exceptions, handled at the box office. Children under the age of 7 and adults over 65 enter free on showing ID. People with a disability certificate enter free, with one adult companion if needed. Large-family card holders pay a reduced price.
The festival is held at the ITER in the south of Tenerife, among its wind turbines. The site combines open spaces, exhibition areas, rooms for workshops and talks, sustainable catering areas and signposted routes.
The festival says it runs mainly on clean energy generated at the ITER, with scenography and spaces built from recovered materials and green points across the site for sorting waste at source.
