The programme draws on Borodin's epic imagination, opening with the overture to Prince Igor and ending with Dvořák's life-affirming symphony. In the middle of the concert, Ian Bousfield is the soloist in Francisco Coll's new trombone concerto, and Julia Cruz conducts.
