Teatro Leal hosts Rafa Sánchez for Biografía, an audiovisual show built from the songbook of the band La Unión, which he led for decades. The evening follows his path from architecture student to teen idol through the group's own songs.

Teatro Leal hosts Pasión Vega within the Festival Mar Abierto programme, in a show that reinterprets songs from the films of the director Pedro Almodóvar. The evening pairs cinema and song, moving through pieces drawn from his own films.

Teatro Leal hosts Maggie Cullen, whose second album, Décimas, has Kevin Johansen and Raly Barrionuevo among its guests. Popi Spatocco produced it. Her first record was Canciones del viento, and the programme draws on Argentine and Latin American songwriters as well as her own writing.

Camané sings at Teatro Leal in La Laguna. The evening is part of the Festival de Fado de Canarias. His catalogue includes Aqui Está-se Sossegado, a project that pairs his voice with the piano of Mário Laginha, and a tribute to José Mário Branco released as an album.

Nicotine Swing bring their third record, Borrando huellas, to the Sala de Cámara at Teatro Leal, fifteen years on from their gipsy-jazz beginnings. The Tenerife group have carried it well past the islands — to events in India, South Korea and Colombia — and their sound now draws on bolero and pop alongside the Django Reinhardt tradition they started from.

Teatro Leal hosts the charity festival Yo Quiero un Mundo Contigo, in aid of the Asilo de Ancianos de La Laguna. The bill mixes music, magic, dance and comedy across a single afternoon for a good cause.

Teatro Leal hosts Víctor Manuel within the Festival Mar Abierto, presenting the tour A solas conmigo. The stripped-down format favours spoken stories between songs over a full-band staging of his catalogue.

Teatro Leal hosts a new opera based on the life of the writer Mercedes Pinto, with music by the composer Laura Vega. The work follows its central figure from private suffering toward resistance, drawing on Pinto's own autobiographical novel.

Teatro Leal hosts Sole Giménez within the Festival Mar Abierto, touring her album Ser Humano. She was the lead vocalist of the pop group Presuntos Implicados before her solo career, and now blends pop, jazz, bolero and latin styles under her own name.

A gospel evening at Teatro Leal, programmed within the Gospel Canarias Festival. The vocal ensemble has toured widely since it was founded. Its repertoire reaches from traditional gospel and spirituals to contemporary anthems.

Teatro Leal hosts Veladas, a candlelit programme for piano, violin and cello built around the music of the composer Ludovico Einaudi. The trio favours an intimate, unplugged reading over a full-band treatment of his pieces.

Dire Straits Legacy brings a set built around well-known Dire Straits songs to Pabellón de Deportes Santiago Martín. The set includes Money for Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Brothers in Arms and Walk of Life.

Teatro Leal hosts Salvador Sobral, presenting the album A Flor do Recomeço. The record is written entirely by Brazilian composers and marks a personal return to the Portuguese singer's own musical roots.
